He let his hands rest on his chest while she had the joint and there was nothing that he had to hold. Keegan took the time to just stare up at the sky. Although he wasn't even sure she could see it, there was a small nod in acknowledgement and a small noise that matched. He did know, in a way, and it was mutual.
At the mention of his birthday, a knowing grin spread across his face. "Oh, I don't think there's very much at all that could be anything like my birthday. But I can at least hope it'll be close."
