She didn't know what to say. She just hid behind her hair a bit more. It takes her a few minutes before she can stop doing that.
"I'm not an-angry o-or u-upset. This isn't easy f-for either of us." She still wants to be able to hope she can get home but every day that passes makes her believe that she'll never go home.
