These Aren't the Lanterns You're Looking For
Being out on patrol wasn't one of Dex's favorite things about being a green lantern, but it came with the ring. Sometimes there wasn't much to do except throw some asteroids around, which today was one of those days. Thankfully today Rose was by his side and gave him some company.

“Something's wrong,” he said. “My ring doesn't seem as charged as it should be.”

The blue shields work about a dozen times better than the green, and despite his noble gesture, this time its Rose coming to Dex's rescue, the missiles impacting her shields - but doing no more than a normal blast might.

The violet blasts ward him away, giving the pair some distance, also angering him.

"You should be helping us get revenge on the boot licker, Sapphire. But since you've chosen your side... BURN!"

Just because he can make constructs and think clearly with a red ring doesn't mean he can't do the napalm breath thing.

A stream of raw anger is spit in Kieran's direction for interrupting them.

Kieran quick puts up a force field to protect himself from the blast trying to make it as strong as possible.

“Don’t you think the Green would be putting up a much stronger fight being with a Blue unless there was something up for them too,” Kieran asks hoping the logic will get through to him since he’s not sure how well his shield will hold.

He's still very glad that he was able to helped get some distance between them.

	Things are wrapping Gorius. Nothing hurts him! Gorius roars as he disgorges plasma from his mouth, burning away the constructs trying to constrict him and he continues on, trying to grab the Sinestro with his massive hands. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The snakes pull Chad away from his task before he can finish the Sapphire. Red, flaming chains emit from his ring, trying to wind around and wrestle the snakes away, burning at the constructs, grasping at anyone else who gets in reach. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kieran flew up and took down his burning shield. He would have shot a crystallization beam at the red who attacked him but he was too worried about it's energy cost to his ring. Instead Kieran used his ring to create a violet thorny rose vine to wrap around him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Chad falls back under the impact, red shields not being nearly as strong as their offense. Still, he's no slouch. Falling right back on his own hand to hand training, he encases a hand in red flame, and swings right back at Dex. "You want to fight, ass-kisser? You found the right guy. 	Gorius muffles against the yellow muzzle, but his red aura begins to flicker a bit. The amount of plasma he spit to destroy the snakes was a lot, as his weakening aura said enough: he was losing power as well. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Deciding to try to do some that might help more and not use a lot of power. Kieran quickly creates weak binding around both Red Lanterns that they should be able to easily break. When they did his constructs would break apart as a disorienting cloud of violet dust. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gorius is certainly affected by it. The aura of his red ring is pushed down to a minimum, and what looks like a smile starts forming on his lizardy face. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Chad is stronger willed than Gorius, even the red not overcoming his higher faculties - but he has his limits. The combination of the attack keeping his rage focused on Dex leads him to getting a faceful of sparkles - which leaves him open to attack.

He's stunned for the barest of moments - but its just enough time for the blue light to extinguish the light of hatred pushing him onward. He calms, the red aura around him fading to a minimal flicker.

	The blue aura touches Nagah...but not in the same way as the Red Lanterns. She started to calm down, but she was still angry. Though she wasn't doing anything, with her ring's power levels dropping. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
