Making Deputies
The group of lanterns were gathered around in a circle not far from the North Pole. Larfleeze was practically bouncing that they were so close to the Fat Man's workshop and Dex swore he would punch the orange lantern just to make him stand still for longer than two seconds. They had business to attend to first and then they could talk to the Fat Man about getting Larfleeze the promised presents.

They were going to create two rings of each color to help in the fight against the Black Lanterns. They would make more, but as it was the rings were only at half power. They would have to make do with what they had until they could find a way to get to Oa and see why the rings were depowered.

Dex looked around the circle. Each color had two more rings, red had three, added to the ranks. It was time to send them out. He nodded and the newly created rings were thrown up into the air. They immediately took off and started seeking out wearers.

"Indeed. I agree. Impulse, you are an experienced leader. As I understand the Young Justice League tends to defer to Superboy, but in this case you would be most suited for the duty. Unless of course one of you has had prior leadership experience," Doctor Fate offers. He tends to have a very neutral attitude though Nabu tends to favor Warhawk as a leader as he sees Warhawk as Carter Hall's heir.

"As we are ready, allow me to cast the spell then. Cindy. Hawkgirl, I request that you keep an eye on me once we arrive please. Is this suitable to your wishes, Green Lantern?"

Pippi followed Iris in, and tried to look thoughtful and business-like all through this discussion. In fact, perhaps to some people's great surprise, she does spend most of it quiet, expression studious and thoughtful. Obviously giving these matters a great deal of weighty consideration.
Who knows - maybe Mitzi is on to something, and Pippi is about to reveal some sagacious contribution to matters of cosmic importance. She certainly appears as if something is on her mind, anyway.

Finally, teams made, situation explained, she speaks up to offer her own contribution to everything.

"Wow, Iris... I wasn't sure about it at first, not your usual look. But that outfit really does make your butt look cute! I still don't know what the girls were talking about. Maybe you should keep this design."

Pause. "Oh, and my ring wants people to know that it can copy the stuff the green rings can do... if there's a green ring sort of near... whatever that means."
