Sunset over Metropolis
The sun was just setting in the western sky as night settled in over Metropolis. Along with night came another form of darkness, one more sinister and evil. The black lanterns move through the city looking for victims to rip hearts out of and add to their numbers.

M'gann doesn't even try to move out of his way -- in fact, she turns to embrace him. Up close and personal is exactly where the Black Lanterns want to be. This way, the moment Don feels a pure emotion, she's right there to rip out his heart.
