Robert believed that the universe brought people together or kept them apart as needed. It was the only way he could explain how he and Jane kept getting separated so often before her death, while he found himself in the oddest places with the oddest people.
For instance, the woman in the living room of the Greek villa he'd managed to find.
Getting out of the United States in a hurry proved to be less difficult with the amount of money he still had left over from his work with the team, but he had no phone and no way to contact anyone. As it stood, that was probably best. Keith would come to him if asked, which was just a bad idea all around.
He definitely wouldn't be happy to see Morgan.
Robert exits the bathroom with two aspirin and gets her a bottle of water, passing it to her and sitting on the table.
"Imagine my surprise when I find you, of all people, in an alley less than two blocks from where I'm staying...after leaving you in Coast City." Robert says.
"You need to lie down, Morgan." Robert says softly.
"You've been screaming in your sleep for a day now. About Damien." he says.
"What happened?" he asks.
