Making plans
Mia had set up the entire living room as "official wedding planning headquarters". The coffee table was covered in various bridal magazines that Dinah had picked up, samplers of invitations, seating charts, lists of places that they should have the wedding and reception at, and a couple of long lists with all the people they knew written on it.

Mia was sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee in one hand, and a calendar in the other, going over the dates in the months of May and June. She was waiting for her fiance to get his butt in from the kitchen so they could pick one, and then start on other planning things.

Zach comes in from the kitchen, carrying a glass of wine and on the phone. "Yes Zanna, we're all thrilled too. I'll let you know when we've got more plans set. Love you too. Take care." He hangs up, then kisses Mia as he joins her on the couch.

"Okay, so I've got the catering all set, we'll just need to hammer out a date. We need to figure if we're doing a masks or no-masks ceremony and/or reception. That should be our first."

"I want Tim as one of my groomsmen. Eddie's going to be the best man... once I ask him. I'm thinking of asking Victoria, Rose, Traci and Lori to fill slots on that as well." Zach adds, as Drake comes up, then pauses. "Don't bother getting a dress or tux for Lori. She'll just shred it and figure out something for herself."

He scratches his chin. "We could just hold the whole thing at Shadowcrest? Zanna all but gave me the okay for that when she was congratulating me."

More notes are taken. "Speaking of money, you know that Ollie doesn't have to do that stupid dowry-based pay for the wedding thing, right? Anything he wants to contribute is fine, but I can more than manage." Zach smiles at her.

"Do you want plain wedding bands, or do you have any other ideas?" A beat. "And is any kind of magical imbuement for them on or off the table?"

"I wasn't thinking anything too fancy in terms of wedding bands...and if you were thinking of implanting some sort of tracker in them, I shooting that down right away." Zach blinks. "No offense hon, but which one of us is it that already died on the job once? A little charm just so I know if you're alright is all... possibly location as well." A pause, as he puts down papers to hug her.

"I don't want to have to get the news from Drake again."

"Considering we go every 'popular' place pretty much as we please..." Zach tugs her into his lap.

"How does a camping trip where I leave my cell-phone behind and you have me all to yourself on some tiny undeveloped tropical island sound? I know you have to share my attention a lot, so I am officially volunteering to make myself inaccessible by the rest of the world." He smiles, reaching for his business calendar and flipping through.

"That... should work. I've already canceled on the Bellagio once in the past twelve months though, so can you forgive me if honeymoon can't be more than four days? We can resume after, I promise."
