In case of baby...panic!

Cerdian walked up the stairs to Lian's apartment with the box of chocolate, running through a breathing exercise in his head. Today, he would tell Lian that he loved her and apologize for treating her so poorly. He would find out if she had it in her heart to forgive him and then the would figure out what that meant in regard to her life now. He would tell her that he wasn't marrying anyone and that he only wanted to be with her.

Upon arriving at Lian's door, Cerdian knocks three times and waits for her to answer.

Suddenly, he realizes he forgot the flowers.

Once Mia had found out that Lian had had the twins, she called Zach to meet her so they could go to the hospital to meet their new niece and nephew. And with everything that had been going on lately, they could use some happy. Mia helped Cerdian spread the word by calling the rest of the family and the Outsiders.

Mia arrived with Zach and everyone else. She made her way to Lian's room, a smile on her face.

	Connor had left his son with the sitter. No need to draw any possible attention from Lian and her Twins that he knew were going to be adorable. When he walked in he immediately noticed that something was off and did not feel right. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Roy sees Mia and Connor and goes over to them, leading them out of Lian's room. "Hey, you two. Is Ollie here yet? There's a problem. A big problem" Roy says. "One of the twins was kidnapped." Roy says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"You've got /no idea/ how much I wish I could say I was screwing around, but I'm not. Damien tried to take the twins, but Cerdian stopped them from getting Alex. But they got Donna and there's been no sign of them. I've got people all over this, but it's like they've vanished.

Lian's been inconsolable." Roy says quietly.

"She needs people to keep her calm, Mia. Any way you can help, I'd appreciate it. I swear, it seems like our family just keeps getting crapped on, over and over again." Roy grouses.

	"Connor, I need /you/ to keep Ollie calm. I don't know what he'll do, whether it be console Lian or suit up again to go after Damien. 	"Mia! Connor! Roy!" Ollie came in with a smile on his face and a bunch of flowers in hand. Dinah was following close behind him. There was an obvious skip in his step. 	"Too late, Magic Man. The League's already come and gone. They nearly got both of the kids, but Cerdian managed to keep them from getting Alex. Damien's got Donna, though." Roy says. 	Ollie's face darkened. He dropped the flowers and turned around, not saying a word. He was visibly upset with every fiber of his being. "This isn't something we send other people to do," he said, and then he started walking the other way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Ollie, look, I've got people working on this, but I need you not to undermine that by doing whatever you plan on doing." Roy says, following Ollie.

"Believe me, I'd like to find Damien, Slade and the whole rest of their demented family and crack their skulls, but we've got to think this through. He got Donna and narrowly missed getting Alex.

We need to protect Alex and Lian while we look for Donna." Roy says.

"I know you're upset about Keith, but we've got to outthink these people or they're going to catch us slipping." Roy says, hating that he's telling Ollie not to do the very things he himself wants to do.

Ollie stops and puts his hand up when Roy mentions Keith.

"Enough, Roy."

He turned, and then pointed at Roy.

"Last I checked, Lian and Alex have protection. I love them, but I want my (great) granddaughter back and safe. Lian has the Outsiders to keep her protected. That's quite a bit of firepower.

If you think I'm not going to put my hand in this, then you haven't learned a damn thing since your days as Speedy."

He paused.

"And don't think you know how I feel about Keith."

Roy takes a deep breath and counts to ten, because blowing up at Ollie, in a hospital is not going to solve anything. He and Ollie were family and Roy loved him dearly, but the man always, always, always had to do things /his/ way.

There was no way he could tell him about Robert, not now or ever.

"I'm just asking that you don't rush off into this. I'm in contact with Tim Drake and a few other people who want to help. The moment we've got something, we can move. Right now, though, we don't have a lot to go on except that this was an inside job.

Damien had people in his hospital on his payroll. There's no other way he could have pulled this off so fast." Roy says.

Cerdian steps outside of Lian's room, keeping the door open where everyone could see inside. In case she tried to sneak out or anything.

"Gentlemen, I would like try a scrying spell to find Donna, if you will allow it. Perhaps we can find her quickly and keep this from going further than it has to." Cerdian suggests.

"I simply ask that someone watch Lian while this occurs."

	These reactions did not surprise Connor at all not that there was much he could do there. "I can watch her," Connor says, "Just let me know if I'm needed for anything." He head off towards the door. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Tell Tim Drake that if he really wants to help, he can stop abandoning his team to run off on his own."

That was all Ollie had to say about that one. He was supposed to be an Outsider, to which Ollie a source for funds. Then he looks to Cerdian.

"Do it, Cerdian," Ollie says. "Anything you can do to find her more quickly is for the best."

Then he turns to Connor.

"I'm calling the Outsiders here as well. They will help you watch after her."

And then he turns back to Roy again.

"Whatever investigations your contacts have, tell them to make it snappy. The longer Donna is gone, the more bonding time Damien will have with her. The last thing we need is for the League of Assassins to raise her."

	"Then don't take your sweet time, Roy," Ollie said. He turned the other way and pulled out his phone. He had to call the Outsiders base to get somebody to the hospital. The new Terra was always there, so she would likely be the one to pick up. He walked off, talking on the phone. (Reply to this)(Parent)
