Well Max had to be honest, his reception for when he returned to Berkeley wasn't quite as bad as he thought it would be.Tyler's help in getting the power back online had smoothed over most of the ill feelings he would have received. Still, the Dean had seen fit to make him the new campus tour guide to take advantage of Max's new "celebrity" status. Considering Max wasn't very social to begin with, it felt more like a punishment than an honor. Still, no use complaining about it Max was currently waiting for his scheduled tourists. He was early so he didn't expect them to be around just yet.

Max made his way back. "Yeah sorry, Will, Dr. Renard's not..whoa, uh, sorry to interrupt." Max turns away upon seeing the intimate moment. He was embarassed, and more than a little envious.

Will is a tad bit surprised that Max came back at just that moment.

"Oh. I-I-I'm sorry a-about that, Max. It's-umm.."

Quick, Will! Change the subject.

"So...ummm...whats up with Dr. Renard?"

"It's cool..uh yeah, Dr Renard's not in today, but he'll be in the rest of the week starting tomorrow if you want to stop back. I think he's coming back from a dig somewhere."

"Oooh! A dig? Cool! I don't know about that. I had managed to put this day aside...what about in two weeks? Unless there's an emergency, I'll be able to make it here then."

This was true, sort of. He could maybe make it sometime this week, but he often had to leave to do his many hero-y things that he ran out of time unless the timing was just right, such as today.
