The Hardest Part is the waiting (Traya and Iris)

Jai waited in the lobby at the hospital after leaving a message on Dad's phone, then calling Traya and Irey. He'd changed out of his costume almost immediately after dropping his mother off and then entered the hospital as he son, asking to see his mother.

She was in surgery now, so Jai paced the floor and waited for news, trying to understand what happened earlier. His powers simply shut down on him. What did that mean? It had never happened to him before. He hoped it was an isolated incident, because he couldn't afford to have it happen again.

He sits down and waits for the doctor to show up and, hopefully, bring some good news.

	"Same here. I'd rather we fight as little as possible." Jai says, sobering. He wished now that he hadn't fought with his mom so much about Traya. If she died, she wasn't getting a lucky reset button like he did. "Why does it take death or near-death to remind us how precious life is?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
