It's not even Feburary yet
The show had gone down without a hitch and she had been left to her own devices. So she was taking in the sights and sounds of the city. The air was chilly due to it being December but not as cold as she was used to so she was happy with that.

She did though pick up on something that had her wandering down to an out of the way market district. She bought a coffee from a vender and took a seat. Then blinked as she noticed the same things playing out again and again. It was weird because some people were able to leave the area others though just couldn't. They would find themselves drawn back and repeat everything over and over again.

This is just weird she wonders what's causing it. Slowly she gets up and starts to navigate around looking for some kind of clue as to what is causing this weird loop.

	She hasn't really gotten to see the fun parts of magic just yet. But being a stage hand for a magician has been tons of fun. "It's..." She trails off then picks at a wire to test the 'coding then tugs another. "Clip here. It'll pull the test of it apart." Subject changes are good. "Oh no you're doing fine I just.... don't like to think about the people who broke the lock. They were kind of insane. And you bringing it up isn't bad... you did fine because you were just curious."

She tries to smile. "I'm... fortunate I have teachers who are helping me figure this all out right now. It's still a bit like getting dumped into the deep end of a pool though."

	"Something...innocent." She glances back towards the original area the spell was set up. "I think they were trying to preserve something they liked. A garden.... Just in time too! There are bits of magic jumping about like the live ends of an electric wire.

That has her just shocked because she hadn't expected any real danger.

"Damn it." She shifts. "Okay. This one is a little more finicky than the other one. I need to figure out how to pull it apart a bit more so it stops.... doing that."

She glances up at him. "Thanks."

	"No problem. I think I see the problem." He points to a spot where the rune letter actually runs off a little at the bottom. "They got a little liberal with their writing on this one. 	She nods in agreement "Short hand doesn't work right with this kind of thing..... I think I can safely take the spell apart if I fix that." She digs around in her purse and finds a pair of finger nail clippers. 	Max kneels down so he can keep a closer eye on the energy running through the symbols. "It looks like it's lessening a bit..wait!" He pulls her hand back a moment as another spark flies up. 	She was afraid of moving too slow. Margin of errors are good to have. Before she continues she smiles at him. "Thanks." Then it's once more into the breech. Because of the times she has to pull back it will take a few minutes for to to fix the runes. It's dangerous work because of the sparking magic. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
