Jay was in class; Ruth wasn't, and she found herself with nothing to do but worry about other people. Like Max, who'd barely set foot out of his lab lately. So Ruth went and got enough hotdogs for the both of them.

She knocked on the door of the lab.

Wait a minute... why is he wasting time with the whole hallway? There's a perfectly good window right around the corner. He'll hop out and fly down.

Riley abruptly turns around and makes a beeline.

He rounds a corner, and Riley, followed by the rest of Riley, bumps into something soft.

"I'M SORRY!" He says reflexively, before he even gets a look at who he bumped into. Then... oh dear lord.

"Uh.... hi, Ruth." He freezes like a deer in headlights.

	Riley is just staring, flabbergasted. "I... uh... I'm sorry?" He practically screams in terror when the new voice comes over the intercom. He hisses quietly to Ruth, trying not to look at anything other than her face. "You gotta hide me! I can't deal with Cait right now!"
