Movie Interrupted!
"Okay!" Heather called into the rest of the complex. "DVD player's finally set up! We've got movie night!"

Things had been going rather well for her and her fellow Lights. The art show had made her more money than she'd ever had at one time in her life, her parents had somehow managed not to find out, she'd sold a piece to Ralph Dibny and his wife who'd happened to be in Chicago and had used to live in Opal, and had spent a portion of Valentine's Day faintly high off the love fumes.

Which really explained the charge she sometimes got around Cindy and Saishu or Harry and Jess.

Ganthet showed up on his own schedule, getting them to work with their powers or offering some kind of abstract philosophy.

And most of the time, she didn't feel like crying when she looked in the mirror. Pretty good.

	Lenny wheels himself to a nice spot and takes a wing. He really didn't feel like watching a romantic movie, but he didn't want to spoil the moods of the others. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The romance, in this case, is at least buried in lots of shouting, introspection, mile-a-minute wit and wacky office hijinks, instead of shoved down the audience's throat. Cindy happily puts it on and starts enjoying said mile-a-minute wit herself. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Andy was... kinda strange, sometimes. But then again, weren't they all? People made out of crystal who get contact highs from love should not throw stones. The movie itself, was quite enjoyable. Heather hit the pause on the remote, and returned the set to normal TV. It had been on a local station previously, and was currently a breaking news report.

The screen showed a building ablaze, the fire looking like it was moments away from spreading to near-by buildings. Old ones, the kind of apartments inhabited by people with no where else to really go or fewer choices and unscrupulous landlords.

"Fire officials have no idea what may have started the blaze, but believe that many more people may be trapped inside..."

	Harry's been squinting at the footage ever since it's come on, trying to figure out where the fire is. "Yeah I'm pretty sure I know where that is. I'll probably need someone to hit me with a construct or something because I'm running a little low." Finally all that exploring around Chicago was going to be helpful.
