Movie Interrupted!
"Okay!" Heather called into the rest of the complex. "DVD player's finally set up! We've got movie night!"

Things had been going rather well for her and her fellow Lights. The art show had made her more money than she'd ever had at one time in her life, her parents had somehow managed not to find out, she'd sold a piece to Ralph Dibny and his wife who'd happened to be in Chicago and had used to live in Opal, and had spent a portion of Valentine's Day faintly high off the love fumes.

Which really explained the charge she sometimes got around Cindy and Saishu or Harry and Jess.

Ganthet showed up on his own schedule, getting them to work with their powers or offering some kind of abstract philosophy.

And most of the time, she didn't feel like crying when she looked in the mirror. Pretty good.

	Andy is standing there, the artificial skin slowing being repaired as the nanomachines do their work. But at the question, Andy just stares and waits for others to respond. She doesn't have Social Skills. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Saishu kind of looms behind Cindy, not because she cares one way or another for the attention, but because Cindy is the one who seems comfortable in this situation, and more because with so much chaos and so many questions, she's not understanding a word anyone is saying. Staying near her translator just makes sense to her before someone annoys her, or she says something wrong.

A lot of the attention was focusing on Lenny, Jess, and Heather, and to a lesser extent, Saishu and Andy, but only because they were the most obviously unusual.

Yeeeeah. She was really gonna have to make that call. This was gonna make nation news. And she still kinda looked like herself.

The reporters, did, however, give them a little bit of space. "So you're here to stay?" one asked. "What do we call you?"

	Oh geezs they should have talked about this just in case something happened. She nervously flicks her hair and glances at Cindy again. She's their spokesperson and their boss as far as she's concerned. Plus she decides it probably helps the Orange Light need to claim something. The more different-looking people may keep drawing the most eyes, but the attempt to shove them into the spotlight is going up against a Lord's ability to Ham. She answers any question she can sink her teeth into, and she can sink her teeth into that last one.

"Let's just say that for the forseeable future, until such time as we need to be elsewhere, Chicago has some New Guardians."

Okay, major league props to Cindy for that one. But even if she'd only had one show, as an artist, Heather had sat through a couple of classes about art in marketing and new that names made a product.

She pointed to each one of them, tossing off a name, starting with herself. "Sapphire. Emerald. Topaz. Sphene. Azurite. Crimson."

Ruby was definitely not going to work for Saishu, she somehow guessed.

And Cindy... um... think... colors... "Coral."

When the cameras really started flashing, Harry had given in and teleported away for a moment, returning just in time with a hat and sunglasses to hear Cindy's team-naming.

Well...now they had a team name and superhero names. He was dreading the costumes that were no doubt coming though. At least maybe he'd get a mask, sunglasses and sticking to the back of the group wasn't going to cut it for long.

	Too much English, spoken by too many people, coming too fast. Saishu has no idea what's going on, and truth be told, is starting to get a little agitated by the press of people and confusion. She just tries to stick close to Cindy and let her handle it. (Reply to this)(Parent)
