Stir-crazy at the Manor
It's been a few days stuck mostly in his room and Thomas feels like he's going to go crazy.

So far he'd manage to avoid questions about how he'd managed to get that badly injured (he hated to admit to any kind of failure) and more awkwardly, how he'd managed to come home the next day all stitched up. And far better than he could have done. But the too-much-pain excuse to avoid questions wasn't going to fly much longer.

Still, he's so used to going out almost every night to fight crime that being confined to a bed both by certain people and by his own injuries was getting to be too much. What was he supposed to do? Just lie there? No, screw what Alt-Dad might say or glare. This was too much.

Carefully limping down the stairs, he starts making his way towards the living room. At least he'd get the giant TV to entertain him.

	Maria returned home four hours later with a grease stained brown paper bag in her hand. She was sore, tired and in pain, but it had been a productive night. Now she was going to see if Boy Wonder was still awake and hungry. She wandered into the living room. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Being unable to drag himself very far around the manor meant he was dependent on other people bringing food. He's stretched out over the couch, feet and head propped up with pillows, and quite bored. When he sees Maria he perks up,"Hey! Rough night?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"He came by not too long ago, during the one time I was getting up to change movies. I swear he timed it that way just so he could be all 'No moving or we're having all those stitches redone, you're lucky to even have them.'" "Oh please, you have a social life. Well, as much of one as we can ever have. You've got the YJLA, had that kryptonian over and a night off with whatever friend it was not too long ago. Plus, my Christmas present of covering your patrol is still good you know," he argues. "And everyone gets disapproving bat glares from the old man. Everyone."

He almost chokes on the burger at the next part. "Wait...they know? Shit. Yeah I don't think Dick will take that too well. Good luck. Need any help or distractions?"

"I don't see the YJLA unless something is going to hell. I was sick when Jon came over so that doesn't count. My only social thing lately was going out with Alina."

Maria shrugged. "It was bound to happen. Dad won't take it well. I bet Bruce told him over the phone because my dad would have strangled him if it were face to face. Mom would ask me how much I've made."
