There's a rule about bat glaring in public. You're not supposed to.

And he's really breaking it now with the way he glares daggers at Maria.

"I am not singing," he hisses through his teeth at her as he digs in so she needs to almost drag him after her.

He didn't believe her. Not for one moment. "My entire alcohol tab is on you," he just glares.
