Gotham Fashion Week
Gotham wasn't quite New York or Paris, but its yearly high fashion show was one of the rising stars of the industry, recent and small enough that a lot of independent designers were there, big enough to start getting some of the names. Definitely big enough to draw Pippi's attention. She had her mom's handler arrange everything for her for all the events, her hotel, transport while there and so on, along with a chance to survey the town a little. She's heard all sorts of interesting things about the city - but mostly that no one there likes clowns. The circus even has to not use its clowns when they go through... she figures that's probably why everyone is so gloomy there.

"Yes, he should," Thomas agrees, looking awfully amused. "I can take one, but two may not go over so well with Batman. It'll be easier for you to find a place on your team for the other kitten that way too. Maybe only one teammate will want a kitten, though everyone should want one."

"...Do you have a picture of your unicorn? And Bugsy and Boo are people who give out mythical creatures?" Oh this wasn't making much sense no matter how he tries to think.

Pippi nods, going through the fanny pack she brought for important things she needs to keep on her, even when heroing - like her pictures of her pets.

Mr. Whiskers, as it turns out, is a stuffed cat. Then there's a picture of Cait and King Triton, followed by one of a Rotweiler wearing a hockey mask as a hat, and fourth, Pippi holding her unicorn - which is very much real, it appears, but small enough to stand in the palm of her hand.

"I see..." Really, what else can he say? A stuffed cat (yet she owns a live dog? Unacceptable) and a...tiny live unicorn? Sadly that would have to go on his list of weird things because though he's seen a lot, this was the first tiny unicorn he'd ever known to exist.

"Well I hope...Ms. Fluff finds a good home on your team." He's not sure if this girl will make a good pet owner really. "At least she'll have a full team watching out for her." And the chances of one of them being more...sane might help.

"I'm...sure you take good care of Mr. Whiskers." The fact he can say that with a straight face should be credited entirely to bat training.

Mr. Paws and Thomas share a look, and silently agree that the name Mr. Paws will not stay. But poor Ms. Fluff though, Thomas wonders who she'll be stuck with. "Good luck and take care," he tells the kitten while giving her a kitty treat as a goodbye. He wishes he could take her too, but AltDad wouldn't be pleased at all at two cats. One he could convince him of though.

"Who were you thinking of putting her with?"

He just looks amused at her withholding names now. She'd said Dinah before, which was enough of a risk, but if he was interpreting the blue smurfs right she was talking about a GL. No doubt the one that used to be on a team with Maria. But still, if he recalled correctly the guy was not from Earth and seemed unlikely to have a secret id. "I don't see your Green Lantern guy being a kitten person."

"...I see. Well if you do go down that route I'd suggest you get a lawyer and a friend or some advisor to help you too. Makes sure they don't do anything you aren't comfortable with." She seemed nice enough, if not the sharpest tool in the shed, but that also meant someone could take advantage of that sort of personality for their own gain. He didn't want to see that happen.

"I'm going to beauty school, and am going to open my own shop someday, if I don't get a job with one of the big publishers. Some of the girls with the team let me help them. Especially when they get ready for big things.
