But it had sounded serious, and he doesn't want her to come out of the room and see the fishing line and think that he's been eavesdropping on purpose. So if he can just get the line untied and into his pocket -- like so -- then he can just be passing by, completely not like someone who's accidentally overheard one of his new teammates having a serious, private conversation.
