Maria was in the gym at Wayne Manor taking her frustrations out on the heavy bag. Fists pounded the bag, each strike harder than the last. Anger fueled her punches. Her hands were hurting, even though they were taped up, but she didn't seem to notice. She would pay for it later, but right now the bag would pay.

	He breaks into a smirk. "Of course I'm not. And anyway, the rules we break are all about context." There's a pause and he won't really admit he's touched. "Thanks, you're family to me too." He's not sure if that's better or worse than the way his parents used to argue and it'd end in very clear sexual tension. Not fun either, for him at least. "At least you know AltDad can shut it down pretty fast. Plus, we've got you and a cute kitten on distraction, and if all else fails, bring in the next course of food or presents. It'll be fine." Yes, that was optimism from a bat. Blame the holidays.
