Difference of opinion (meme Thomas.)
Damian had done something completely foolish. The problem is he hadn't seen it that way. He and Thomas had been on patrol together. They were beginning to work well together. The big problem is that Damian had leaped before he looked in the last fight they had been in.

He had nearly been hurt. He wasn't and saw no problem with what had happened.

That was most certainly not an agreement.

"No, if I hadn't pulled you both out of there you both would've been hurt. You're not listening to my instructions. I can't have you in the field with me if you keep doing that and I will tell him so." This kid was making him sound like Bruce. He hated this.

He gives Damian a long look at the 'will do better'. He wants to believe this but isn't sure. Maybe Maria could take him instead, he seemed to like her better for some reason.

He actually is sorry. He knows Thomas doesn't believe him. How could he?

"I am sorry. I reacted like you were T. Not like you're you. I've always had a hard time staying still in... specific situations." A look of embaressment crosses his face.

"I'll work on it, I swear."

"Then you have to be willing to learn not to jump in. I'm not going on patrol with you if you won't, and I doubt Maria will be too pleased to be saddled with you. Add in that the Boss won't let you go out on your own for patrols yet...keep this up and you won't be doing any Gotham patrols." A dire enough thing for most of the bat family.

"We'll see if you do," he nodded, wanting proof by action rather than words. Only time will tell for that.
