First Day of School
The first day of school has been stressful for Avalon. Very stressful. The only bright part of the whole day was when he found out that he was placed in the same grade as Henry, though that didn't really mean a lot. It wasn't like they had any classes together.

Avalon had been horrified when he found out that Josh and Katima wasn't going to share any classes with him, but soon enough he had to get over it and try to get along on his own. Being empathic also didn't seem to help at all, and by the end of the day, Avalon is worn out and sore from having to block himself for the majority of the hours he has been at school.

Luckily though, the day is finally done, and Avalon is standing outside where they all agreed to meet, his back against a tree as he idly itched his back. His wings are aching, and he can't wait to get them free and stretch completely, but he knows now is not the time. So, he waits, and tries to not be too troubled by his day at school. It was horrible, and his English caused him to have quite a few misunderstandings. And then there are these boys who made fun of him, calling him names that he didn't even really understand - though they are easily ignored.

He's been worried about Katima and Josh the most though, and so he watches for either of the teens to emerge from the building, his heart in his throat.

Avalon just rolls his eyes, and sits back on his stool. "Yea. If that's what you call it." he then says. "You're here, but you're not here with me."

Leaning forward then, Avalon narrows his eyes at Henry, his lips smirking a bit in amusement as he asks in a whisper "Are you still afraid, Henry? There is really no reason for that, you are safe here with me. With us. But for now, it is just me."

Avalon raises a brow then, his head nodding to Henry as he listens to the other teen's words. "Well. I am glad to hear that you are not afraid, for there are few things in this world that makes Henry Jordan fear." he then states.

"In that case, maybe you will be willing to come back from where ever you have gone. You have been distant for long enough, and I mean it when I say that I've missed you." he then says with a warm smile. Avalon pauses, then asks "Why don't you go flying with me?"

	He smiles. "Alright," he nods. "I... guess I just wanted to make sure you guys were okay with me again." His smile fades, and he gives a light shrug. "I know how badly I fucked up, Avalon." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Avalon just gives Henry a bit of a little smile, and looks the other boy in the eyes as he says "You did fuck up, but Josh and Katima and I are all still here. No one is perfect, Henry and we don't expect you to be."

Getting up, he rounds the counter and comes to walk up to Henry, his lips smiling as he reaches out and presses his palm to Henry's chest. It's one of those funny little things that Avalon does as a greeting, and one he hasn't done to Henry for weeks.

"I had to stop touching you because I didn't want to make a connection, before." he says softly. There is a pause, then Avalon's expression lights up as he murmurs "Ah.. there you are.."

"I didn't want you to know. It was easier to just let you believe what you wished than to force the truth on you." replies Avalon softly. He takes in a deep breath and then gives a shy little smile before he flexes his fingers a bit. His palm was tingling and his brain feels a bit fuzzy from letting his guards down, especially for someone as powerfully emotional as Henry.

"I still stand by you; I feel foolish for letting my faith come so close to being broken." he then murmurs softly, while looking into Henry's eyes.

Avalon just gives Henry a brilliant smile, and gives his head a little bit of a shake. "You may have been the cause, but you have done more than I expected or wanted in trying to make amends. And I understand that this was all.. difficult.. for you."

The blond boy gives another bright smile, and then rather launches himself at Henry, though it's all for a tight hug. "Thank you for waking up though. I didn't really want to leave Earth." he whispers.

	"Sometimes," he replies, hugging tightly back, "I'm a dumbass and I just need a smack upside the head. I'm sorry I didn't notice when you did the smacking." "A condition that I have found many across the galaxy to have, is that sometimes their asses turn dumb." Replies Avalon with a touch of humor to his tone.

Henry's fingertips through his feathers though is somewhat of a surprise. Avalon's breath catches in his throat, and he gives Henry a softer smile. Without saying anything, he draws his wings around the two of them more in a silent invitation.

	It's a slow, gentle touch Henry gives Avalon's feathers, slowly drawing up the wings until he reaches the limbs themselves, and he slowly massages where they meet his back. "Yeah. Apparently, when I get it, mine can be catching." His tone is still soft, but there's just a hint of teasing humor to it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

One of Avalon's weaknesses is having his wings be touched. They are very sensitive, annd in addition it is just an area of his body that he tends to not let just anyone near. That said, Henry is doing quite wonderful things that leave Avalon melted against him, held up by Henry's weight.

"Anyone with an ass has that potential." He breathes out. Between letting down his barriers and Henry's fingers, his tone has taken on a decidedly languid tone.

"Yeah..." replies Avalon. He's all but forgotten about flying at this point, but then again having the heavy muscles of his back massaged was a rare and enjoyed treat.

Avalon realizes then that he's got to make himself think instead of just puddle in the kitchen. He gives his blond head a bit of a shake and then tries to get his eyes to focus as he asks "Maybe we should go elsewhere, just to keep from bothering Josh and Katima?"

	Smiling gently, Avalon gives his head a bit of a shake before he murmurs "We should go somewhere other than your room - Josh gets disturbed when he's forced to feel things he's not expecting. 	Henry smiles, just a little mischievously, and slides his hand out to take Avalon's hand. "I know just the place." He begins to fly out of the house, phasing through the ceiling, taking Avalon with him. He turns them both invisible as they go. "I found a beautiful uninhabited island out in the Pacific." 	Avalon let's himself be drawn up and out, his fingers threaded through Henry's. He is quite happy to follow Henry wherever he leads, and for this first time, Avalon finally finds a certain joy that he knows his life has been missing. Understanding, ad in tur having the same conversation at the same time with someone is a wonderful thing. (Reply to this)(Parent)
