For just once in her life, Nala wished that her everyday life could be simple and not be interrupted by some villainous plots. She was in the middle of a fashion show, wearing a very expensive dress, and then suddenly there was gunfire and screaming. Normally, this was some kind of plot device to capture the leading lady. But Nala wasn't you typical leading lady, and these thugs didn't stick around very long. It seemed like the ruckus in the main room was just a distraction to keep everybody from noticing the theft happening in the changing room. They were lucky Nala wasn't in the changing room, but they were also unlucky that Nala was there in the first place. And they were unlucky that they made Nala rip her dress, which she was going to have to pay for later.

She had already tracked them down to some run down warehouse. Nala didn't even know they had those in Paris, to be quite honest. But that didn't stop her from sneaking in there and getting to business. By the time anybody else would show up, she'd already laid them all out on the ground.

He'd been in Paris for squad business. Which he hated. But at least it got him out of the country. Some minor information getting was all it was really but they needed someone who could teleport. So off Jerry was sent. Well at least it got him out of the country for a very short time.

Still, Paris was odd. Lots of too well dressed skinny hot girls on the streets. In fact everyone seemed far too carefully dressed. It was after asking one of the girls for directions, only to find out she wasn't a paris native but an italian model, did it hit him that it was likely a fashion thing. Ugh, Paris.

Whatever, though, he'd just go about his business. But going about your business was hard when a bunch of lame criminals came barrelling down the street, smashing into you and taking off. Oh that wasn't going to be let stand. No way, it had been an annoying enough day with this job. Growling slightly, Jerry took off after them.

Unfortunately he wasn't quite familiar with the streets of paris, and didn't have his suit on him, so by the time he got to the warehouse...well it wasn't the scene he expected.

All the thugs down on the ground, groaning or unconscious, and atop them...like something out of a wet fantasy action movie, a stunning model in a dramatically ripped dress looking both fierce and flawless.

Wait...was that...

Oh for-

"You've got to be kidding me..." Came a voice from the warehouse side door.

	Nala looked directly at Jerry, and it took everything she had not to laugh. What was this irony? She was in Paris and he still managed to run into her. "Are you following me around the world, Jerry?" she asked. You could hear the amusement in her voice. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He, on the other hand, did not find this so funny. Seriously, everywhere he went she seemed to be there. If anyone made a comment about her appearing around to set him straight, they'd join the guys on the floor too.

"No, though an argument could be made for you following me. You just beat me to the punch here," he grumbled and looked at the bodies on the ground. "Literally too."

	"This is Paris, Jerry," Nala replied. "One of the fashion capitols of the world. Did you not expect that I could be working here at any time?" She smirked at the thugs on the floor. "Yes, but I didn't bet on you being here the one time I'm here. And in the same area," he frowned before transitioning into dripping sarcasm. "I figured. It was that or your street style was more dramatic than I thought."

He kicked one groaning thug aside as he walked over. "Couldn't have left even scraps for anyone else I see. What's that about heroes being all generous?"

He looked down at her hand then back at her, sarcasm still dripping but a smirk finally starting to play on his face. "Really now? I think it's that you're not ready to show me." Yeah he was a grouch and this run in was annoying in some ways but he'd done nothing wrong and she couldn't lord it over him. For once. So much easier to run with it. "See, if you'd done that sharing thing, I'd be able to share my fists with their faces. And then we could share in the victory, and any celebrations. But you're not the sharing sort of hero huh?"

She tapped his chest twice with her finger, sort of like saying 'tut, tut'. He was trying to goad her into a witty response, and it was going to work. How could Nala refuse something like that? After all, Jerry was sorta easy.

"Not ready to show you? Celebrations? Oh Jerry, people who expect things don't often get them. What did you think we were going to do to celebrate beating up thugs? Hm?"

	So, that just happened. Nala may have let a few animal urges come out for it, but Jerry didn't seem to mind. At the very least, she was able to claim his shirt so that she wouldn't expose herself in her newly shredded dress. "A man's shirt and heels," she commented, chuckling after she said it. 	Most unamused look. "Har har. Don't even kid." "So what're you going to do with that?" He indicated the remains of the dress. "Nice one time thing at least."
