For just once in her life, Nala wished that her everyday life could be simple and not be interrupted by some villainous plots.  She was in the middle of a fashion show, wearing a very expensive dress, and then suddenly there was gunfire and screaming.  Normally, this was some kind of plot device to capture the leading lady.  But Nala wasn't you typical leading lady, and these thugs didn't stick around very long.  It seemed like the ruckus in the main room was just a distraction to keep everybody from noticing the theft happening in the changing room.  They were lucky Nala wasn't in the changing room, but they were also unlucky that Nala was there in the first place.  And they were unlucky that they made Nala rip her dress, which she was going to have to pay for later.

She had already tracked them down to some run down warehouse.  Nala didn't even know they had those in Paris, to be quite honest.  But that didn't stop her from sneaking in there and getting to business.  By the time anybody else would show up, she'd already laid them all out on the ground.

She held that smirk. This was more fun than they had had in a long time. Playing this game was dangerous, though. Who knew what would happen at the end?

"I'm curious to know what those other things are," she said. "Maybe you should lecture me, this time."

She always had more fun during their encounters than he had, why should that stay that way? She had nothing to lecture him on this time.

"Should I? You've always struck me as the type to be able to lecture long hours. From morning, to all the fun hours of night. You should leave time for other things."

She tapped his chest again.

"Other things, Jerry? I can think of a few other things I like. What about you?"

"Obviously. I wouldn't call them the fun hours of night if they didn't involve things I liked."

"But are we talking about the same things, Jerry?"

She stepped in a little closer. Probably a little into his personal space, but she was careful not to touch him with anything but the hand on his chest.

When it came to a fighter of her calibre, you just had to accept that once you were within their reach you were in their hands. No suit on, she could so easily take him out already before moving in, so the closed distance didn't bother him.

"Only one way to find out. You've just got to decide if the dress comes along for it."

"The dress is nice," she said. "But I think it's a little worn out, wouldn't you say?"

He didn't move closer but his face leaned in for a smirky whisper. "Well you did keep all the thug beating to yourself. But I'll let it slide. You ruined a perfectly nice dress for it after all. Let's not stretch out it's end."

"Oh, you're right. I don't think this dress should be the one doing anymore stretching."

"This might've just barely been a warmup for you but that dress has been put through its paces. Guess you'll need to continue on without it."

She turned around.

"Well then," she said. "If we're going to keep this up, you might as well unzip me. There's only so much flirtation I can take before certain... urges take over, Jerry."

Well you couldn't flirt that heavily and say that a response like that was out of the blue. Part of him had still thought it was just them setting each other off like usual but escalated. Sometimes the setting off was for anger, sometimes...more flirty things.

But no he was not going to turn down the ridiculously hot woman in the ripped dress with the post-victory afterglow. Even if she did know how to push all his worst buttons. She also knew how to push all the other buttons too.

"Unzip you? The dress is already ripped," he said and reached out to tug on one said rip with a smirk and stepped in. "If we're going to let urges take over, might as well go all out," he added in a lower tone. Because he was certainly not against throwing control to the wind now.

To be quite honest, that is exactly what Nala wanted to hear him say. She was quick, and she turned around again and wrapped an arm around his neck. Her leg wrapped around the small of his back. If he was smart, he would do the proper movements in return and wrap his arms around her. It was only polite, right?

"Then I get your shirt on the way home."

For once he was saying all the right things, he was usually so terrible at that outside of this context.

She was fast, but his response didn't need thinking, just reacting, and his arms wrap around her and pull her off her feet.

"Deal," he said with a wolfish grin.
