Errands and new people
Avalon has an errand to run, and so he skips out of class early today, and goes to find Josh. he's got a package to deliver (that could have gone by transporter no doubt) but he volunteered to fly it to New York. he's excited to see more of the country, and wants someone to point things out to him - so naturally he takes Josh.

After a change into their uniforms and a quick snack, the boys are off. Avalon extends his Blue aura to Josh, and off they go. This is all very exciting for Avalon - he's seen Earth from space, but never this close up - and New York is an exciting city.

	"Yeah, there are a buncha lanterns," Lifeforce chuckles. He's a little surprised by the sudden offer to patrol or get a bite and looks to Avalon. "Your call, Ava," he offers, fine either way. "All my suit was made to match my brother and parents. Only one in my family to not get a metagene, and the three of them are all speedsters. So, I figured I'd make a suit with all the best tech i could invent or modify."

"And the handsome robot in front of you, of course. The marvels of 26th century technology."

"Got that right, Scooter! I'm from the future! Son of Green Lightning! Brother to Green Lantern, Flamekeeper and the Flash of the 26th Century!" Scott grins at them both. "Also, the smartest of the bunch, if I scans are anything to go by."

Avalon just gives Scott a bit of an odd look as he goes off about his family, and the winged alien drifts closer to Josh just in case. Scott's obviously not a bad guy, but that doesn't mean he's not crazy. Not that that's a bad thing, but Avalon can't quite stop himself form being protective the way he is.

"Wait.. 26th century technology? You're from the future?" he then asks softly, his head tilted to the side. "Okay.. now it's making a bit more sense." he then grins, "I'm from Naltor, but.. my parents were from two different worlds. I'm not a very good example of what people look like there."

When Scott mentions metagenes, Lifeforce closes his eyes and concentrates. "Yep, not sensing one," he says quietly. He tilts his head to the side as Scott goes on about his family and then blinks at the mention of the future.

"Time travel?" he blinks again. "Well, why not?" he shrugs, figuring that there's no reason it shouldn't exist if the rest of the crazy stuff going on does. "I'm just the standard human with weird super powers," he chuckles a little nervously.

"Ah, so you're one of the lucky ones," Scott says to Lifeforce. He then looks at Avalon. "I'm the son of two speedsters, but I'm obviously not the best example of what that should result in. Still! Trying to find a way to make a name for myself. And tune up the speed on this suit... Scooter, you find the problem yet?"

"Not yet, sir, but I'm working on it. I think we need to overclock the Valorium mesh in the suit."

Scott ponders. "Yes... that could work. It'd raise our speed over ten times..." He looks to Avalon. "Say... in atmosphere, what would you say is your top speed?"
