Running and thinking (open)
A sunny Saturday Morning in New York and while most people are sleeping in or watching cartoons, Alex Rice-Matthews is out and active. He's no bodybuilder but the JSA's green lantern likes to stay in shape. That means hard work. and sweating.

As such, he's jogging through a park this warm and sunny day. In green and black, he's been out there for awhile. Sunglasses covering his eyes and ear buds bringing some music from the MP3 player in his pocket, the young hero seems a bit lost in thought. He thinks about his team, the weird Toyman thing he fought, and that Goldstar guy. Mostly about that Goldstar guy actually. The green haired hero had been on Alex's mind since they met fighting Toyman. There was just something about him.

Eventually, Alex comes to a stop by a bench and unclips the water bottle hanging from his belt. He checks his watch as he takes a swig of the refreshingly cool liquid. "Woo. Been out here a bit longer than I thought," he says to no one in particular, popping one ear bud out and moving to sit on the bench for a bit.

	Alex blinks. "Seriously? From scratch?" he asks, impressed now. "Right, I'll keep your secret smoothie to myself," he says. When the door opens, Alex nods. "Sure," he says, heading for the lab. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Well, from spare parts of some old drones, but yeah. The new body is much more from scratch. Plus, in a pinch... he makes one killer hoverboard." Scooter bobs in approval. Down in the lab, not much has changed except the chalkboard now reads WHO IS AVALON? WHERE DO DREAMS GO? littlebigplanet? DO RED + BLUE + WHITE = PATRIOT LANTERN? WHAT IS 4a? "Something else?" Alex asks, a bit concerned now. Henry and Avalon are his friends after all.

"The one about Patriot Lantern. Yeah. From what I know, the Red and Blue rings can't work together. And White is some kinda big, scary special one that no one's seen in a long time so I doubt they'll be combining..." he pauses. "Unless...there's other rings like mine out there," he says, letting his ring become visible. "But that would be unlikely..."
