Washed Ashore (open to YJLA)
Koryak swam as fast as he could, which at this point wasn't very fast. He was covered in wounds from his escape from Poseidonis and blood was flowing freely. There had been shark attacks as he swam from Poseidonis. They had been drawn by the scent of blood in the water and they added more wounds to his body.

Koryak was weakening quickly, but he had to press on. He had to reach the Justice League. He had to reach Cait. She had to know what was going on in Atlantis.

Driven by purpose and running on sheer willpower, Koryak reached the surface. He crawled up on the beach and fell. Sand was rough against his skin and he lifted his head and looked at the buildings. Almost there, but he would not make it. Blackness closed in and his head fell. A prince of Atlantis lay on the beach bleeding.

Later the YJLA would get a call from local law enforcement.

	"The police found him on the beach," the doctor explained. "He was severely wounded. The best we can tell is by some sort of bladed weapons and there were some shark bites. How he survived is a wonder. He lost a lot of blood and has internal injuries. He has no identification, but we assumed he was Atlantean." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"His condition is critical," the doctor said. "He has sustained many injuries and has internal bleeding. We're trying to stop it, but it doesn't look good. The next twenty four hours are critical. 	The doctor nodded. "We have water spraying on him to keep him hydrated. Would submersing him be better?" "It's too dangerous to wake him right now," the doctor explained. "We are hoping he gets through the night and when he's a little stronger we can wake him." (Reply to this)(Parent)
