Cindy doesn't seem like she's going to answer his question initially. "Get a bite if you want, my tab. There's only a couple of good cafes in this town, and this is the other one. I can't go to the place with the fantastic cheesecake. I gotta start watching my nutrition more..." she looks at him. "If I want the others to take this 'I want to be a superhero' thing seriously. Likewise, I think you could stand to start looking more serious and get in with the crowd that knows what it's doing, too."

That was a relief off of his shoulders. He had been expecting some arm-twisting over what had happened at her party, but this was a welcome relief.

"I've never been too comfortable with cafes. What would you recommend?" Michael asked, his voice becoming more relaxed, even as his eyes casually looked around the mostly empty diner.

"So, you're trying to be one, too? Is that why I say Aquagirl there? At the party, I mean."

Social things definitely weren't Michaels "thing".
