Breaking and entering
It had taken Lian a few days to get there, but she'd made it to the League of Assassins headquarters. Several flights later, after staying in a cheap hotel, she'd made the trek through the Arabian desert, traveling light, taking only her bow and knives, but carrying just enough food and water to where she wouldn't starve to death or die of thirst.

That and the headquarters for the League of Assassins, wasn't exactly the easy place to find. You had to know where to look.

Luckily, there's a perk in having a parent for a member.

Lian made her way to the entrance, making sure to stay hidden.

Lian knocked another arrow in her bow. She made her way down the hallway, as quietly as she could, keeping her eyes peeled for any traps or more ninjas.

When she reached the stables, Lian pulled out a hollow tube and several small darts. The darts where laced with a sedative that would knock out anyone they pricked for several hours at the most. She peeked around the corner, keeping out of sight. She exhaled hard, aiming a dart for the neck of each person in the room.

	Both stableboys are hit in the neck with the darts and fall unconscious instantly, having no defense against toxins. The horses fuss somewhat, but ultimately continue on with their lives. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Further down, the tunnel opens up onto a catwalk that encircles a cavernous training ground. There is a stage and raised dais at the far end of the cavern.

The area below appears empty, except for a few ninja working on training exercises. On Lian's left and right, however, there are two teams of ninja making their way toward her.

One throws a shuriken in her direction, attempting to wound her before she can use the bow.

	Lian narrowly dodged the shuriken, nearly losing her balance. She pulled out her throwing knives, throwing several pairs, aiming for the ninja's wrists. Not having time to knock an arrow in her bow, she grabbed several taser arrows out of her quiver, throwing them at the ninjas. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	A few of the ninja are not ready for such attacks and their inexperience shows as they are disarmed and put out of the fight. A few of the more seasoned types, however, stay back and watch the first ones fall. Soon enough, there are three who begin to converge on Lian, hoping to keep her cut off on the catwalk so that she can't retreat the way she came. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She wasn't retreating. Lian had come here for a reason, and she planned to get what she came for, goddamnit. She charged the three ninjas. A throwing knife is launched at one, and arrow at the other. She aimed a roundhouse kick at the third. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The first ninja takes the throwing knife in the arm and keeps moving, but the one taking the arrow is tasered and falls down. The third blocks the roundhouse kick and tries to slash her with the sword. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Lian held up her bow in defense, and it got slashed in half by the sword. She threw it to the ground, taking out a knife and bringing to the ninja's wrist to stab at it, hopefully rendering him unable to use the sword. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	An alarm klaxon blares throughout the base, bathing the area in reddish light as the lights go out. The sounds of footsteps multiply as the man with the sword is stabbed, and Lian can see that her current position will soon be extremely crowded. And the entrance to the hallway is now sealed as an iron door clamps down before it. (Reply to this)(Parent)
