Time Bendy: After the Kraken (Open)

Steve ventured into the kitchen to grab something to eat. He always had some tofu in the kitchen to eat. Point of note: Steve was, in fact a vegetarian. It was among the few things his team actually knew about him, despite the fact that they should probably know more about him. He was the type of guy who got on the team mostly because of his parents in addition to what he could do, and less because he was a sociable person and made great friends with everybody. That was definitely something he had to work on.

"I noticed. I'm... sort of like that. I don't socialize with the rest of the team very much, so it's even only by chance that I heard about you." He was a bit creepy. The way he acted, he almost seemed socially awkward.

"No, it's alright. I'm green. If that isn't weird, then there must be a frequent occurrence of green Atlanteans." He laughed inwardly, but smirked a little at the thought of green fish men.

Steve knew about Tempest. Dad had told him some stuff about the guy. "I imagine there are. So much of the ocean is undiscovered by those of us here on land. If I had the opportunity, I would like to see some of the unknown creatures in it's depths. But, I can't leave for that long."

"Yes... I am." He lifted his hand and created a mini-monkey on his palm. "It's a big reason why I don't make many friends, to tell the truth. It may not even be about being able to read minds, but by how I can read minds--like something from a horror movie." It's hard being a hero when what you can do makes people scared of you.

"I understand. You don't need to tell me anything you don't feel comfortable telling me." He lets the mini-monkey dissipate. "There are things I don't openly share with people, either. You probably know just as much about me now as the rest of the Teen Titans."

Steve saw that he was putting her down. That wasn't what he meant to do, at all, so he decided to try and cheer her up. "But," he said, "It's nice to hear it again every once in awhile. Thank you for that."
