Party time!
Since the calendar had turned to the month of September, Iris had been counting down the days until their birthday. She'd been planning the party since back in June. Jai normally had no problem letting her handle the party planning itself.

She had invited all of the Titans, including Pipi and Mitzi, of course. And Jon, Corinna, Traya, Cindy, Jerry, Keith, Cerdian, and Wendi, too. And Riley, because if she didn't invite him, he'd probably tag along with Dinah anyway. She also told Cait that she could bring her mom along, if she wanted to get out of the Tower, and that her parents probably wouldn't mind the company at all. Jai probably invited some people too, though the guest list was pretty much the same between the two of them.

Everything was all set up, and Iris placed the wrapped package that had Jai's gift on the table where the other gifts would go. Grinning from ear to ear, she waited for everyone to arrive.

The birthday reminder created something of an odd deju vu for Steven, even for him. The question wasn't so much what to get them for their birthday... it was remembering what he'd gotten them for their 18th... since he'd previously seen ghost images of most of their birthdays, possible funerals, and all the rest.
Then there was also the problem that he still had very little actual source of income, even once he remembered.

Finally, he settles for getting his 'cousins' something only he really can. It took some serious time trying to remember all the details he could, but after that, the writing part was easy. They each get copies of Disney scripts and Star Wars novels that only existed in... either other dimensions, or other timelines, or possible timelines. He's not exactly sure which... but in any case, they'll be unique to this world. He figures that's not going to hurt the space-time continuum too much.

	Iris had heard that Uncle Jay and Auntie Joan had a kid that came out of the speed force (it was so weird sometimes). She'd even invited him along, as she wanted to meet him. "It's Steven, right?" She smiled, hugging him. "I'm Iris." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He returns the hug and nods. Its hard to remember, even though he has memories of thousands of encounters with Iris at various ages, including a dozen variations on first meetings, she doesn't know him. He can't help but laugh. "Linear time." he replies with a shrug. "I figure you'd understand better than most. Last time I saw you, you were fifty-seven years old and playing with your new granddaughter at Thanksgiving. I have no idea how long its been since we had a meeting where we were close to the same age. The majority of people in this dimension I have only vague memories of or don't know at all, and have to learn from the beginning. The speedsters... I know them in a lot of possible timelines. So running into you when you've never met me is a little weird. Speed force stuff."
