Petra waits for something to happen, and is about to ask, when it hits her. Every emotion in the room comes alive to her as she feels her senses sharpen, her body get stronger, and that little impulse for her cold powers in the back of her mind get more vivid.

That, and she was feeling pins and needles down to her toes, which she hadn't gotten the benefit of from another being since before she started the dating thing with Din.
