Asteria
Asteria, goddess of the stars, was fascinated by these mortals and the devices they had to view the stars. She was currently at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii. She was looking through the telescope after having chased off the mortals.

Someone he loved was going to die. He couldn't let that happen.

"Thank you, Asteria. I'm not going to let anyone I love get hurt. Eli, let's go." Jai says.

"We'll get the people to leave her alone tonight and see where else we can help. Then I'm going to make sure Traya, Iris and my parents are all okay." Jai says, wanting to run to all of them right this second, but knowing he can't.

He has to keep his word to Asteria first.

Eli would feel sorry for Jai, but everyone he knew and love died already. In horrible painful ways.

Though perhaps evaporation isn't so painful.

He just gives Jai a dull-eyed look and a flick of his wings. "Yeah, sure. Nuke em all from orbit," he mutters.
