Schemes and Things
Having been either bested in battle or otherwise coerced by the members of Injustice Unlimited into cooperating and then teleported away, the Justice Society members would find themselves behind a mystical barrier in an otherwise largely featureless dungeon. Those who had been caught out of costume had been magically dressed with their uniform and all their equipment.

Also imprisoned, separate from the Society members, were the various hostages the villains had taken. The Dugan family. Abby Bronson. Joan Garrick. Molly Scott. Sinon Tavoularis. Belle and Danette Tyler. Cynthia Lord.

The Wizard entered the room, looking rather pleased with himself.

"So," he said, with the air of one quite used to theatrics, "I suppose you're wondering why I've called you all here."

	Rock Star tried to stop Rex with a blast of sound, but a gigantic raging winged man with a mace is a bit scary, and threw his aim off. The blow connected solidly, smashing his hand and his guitar, and sending him flying. He held consciousness for just a moment. "Dude... you broke my hand..." And then he passed out. 	Savage's knife sinks into Rex's back, drawing a roar of rage from him. He turns, stomping down on Savage's foot as he does to keep her from stepping away. Then, he headbutts her full-force in the nose with his metal helmet. "Bitch!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The blow hurt, but Savage was made of pretty stern stuff, trained by quite the assortment of warriors and killers. She reeled back, but recovered, then struck out again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Rex still hadn't been able to pull the knife out of his back, and by the stars swimming in his field of vision, he could guess that Savage had hit something important.

But she and her little group of jackasses weren't walking away from this if he could help it. Especially not anyone with the name of Savage.

Rex draws back and attempts to drive the head of his mace into Savage's rib cage. It's not going to piece skin, but breaking a few (or all) of her ribs, or even puncturing a lung, would make Rex very happy right now.

	There's a sickening crack as the blow connects with her ribcage, and there's definitely the sensation that something breaks. Possibly several somethings. She staggered backward a little, then fell. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Rex's right hand reaches over his left shoulder where the knife is and jerks it free with some difficulty. He'll have to ask Zan to cauterize the wound the first chance he gets.

At the moment, however, he takes the knife and stands over Savage.

"If anything has happened to my teammates because of your group of crapsacks, I'm gonna come back and finished what I started on your ribcage." Rex says, turning to walk away.

Then, turns back to Savage and drives her knife into her thigh, nearly falling over.

"Oh, sorry. Did you lose that?" Rex asks, before going to help the others.
