Is everything okay at the castle Ford?

On behalf of the faculty I'd like to issue a general warning to any students traveling in the area this weekend. In light of the heavy rains recently there are several flood warnings in effect and many roads have been closed. Please check the weather before you travel and make sure your chosen routes are open.

After texting Arnaud, checking the school website for his room number, and talking herself up for a few minutes she finally pulled on her sneakers and skipped up the stairs. She paced outside his room for a few seconds before steeling her nerves and knocking on the door.

Several owls were seen dropping off multiple packages to Adelaide's suite at University House throughout the day. Attached to the very last was a note that read:

Wasn't sure what you'd like, so I got you a little of everything. Hope to see them soon.

Despite the rain it had been a pretty stellar week in the North country. The grass was growing in nice and soft just how Leland liked it, the sun was warm and the breeze was just right. On such a fine day Leland choose to take a step back from teasing the underclassmen and wander outside with Emili curled around his shoulders. He found a nice quiet spot where he figured he wouldn't get disturbed or find temptation looming near by and he laid himself down in the grass, adjusting Emili so she could lounge on his chest. Closing his eyes, he smiled. and took in a lungful of fresh spring air.

It had been a while since he allowed himself some quiet, it was a nice change in pace from his constant go-go-go lifestyle. He was quietly content with his eyes closed until his sunlight was blocked. He felt the shadow fall over his face. A little frown curled his lips downward. "I didn't know we were scheduled for a solar eclipse," he said before opening his eyes.

What: Rosa goes to visit Niko.

After she left Luka's, Rosa briefly considered going upstairs to get Nico but ultimately decided against it and headed straight for Putnam House. She just wanted to see her Niko, and having Nico there might just make it difficult. As soon as she stepped outside though, she had wished she'd gone to her room and picked up a jacket or something. With a scowl, she hugged herself and trudged on in the direction of Putnam. It was the one setback about going to a school this far north in the U.S.: the weather. In Brazil it would be at least ten degrees warmer if not more, and while that might not seem like a lot, it certainly did make a difference.

She slunk into Putnam without her usual stride, and glanced around to see if anyone noticed her slip up. Thankfully no one was around to see it at the moment, so she practically scurried up the stairs to Niko's room. When she reached his room, she walked right in - knowing it to be unlocked - shut the door behind her and turned to see Nikolai lounging on his bed.

With a smile, she slipped over and onto the bed with him, curling up next to him and nuzzling him.

"Hello," she purred.

Who: Luka and Rosana
When: Tuesday evening.
Where: Luka's room in Clemons House.
What: Rosa comes to have a chat with Luka.

Luka had no idea what he'd done to garner Rosa's attention at the moment. There was one thing he definitely knew: when she asked for an audience you made damn sure to be there. He asked Arnaud as politely as he could manage to clear off and as soon as he mentioned who was coming his roommate was gone.

He opened his door and made himself comfortable on his bed to wait for his guest. At the very least it was going to be an interesting evening.

Who: Abernathy and her sister Bernadine

What: Thinking about study after graduation, Abernathy hatches a plan to help Bernadine get the magical education she missed.

The seniors had been encouraged to think about their plans for after graduation from early on in the year. They'd all been sent home for spring break with a pamphlet detailing University house and how the program worked on the Dresden campus.

Abernathy perused it on the ride home from the Floo station. She hadn't been planning on attending Dresden. She'd been looking at muggle colleges and had nearly settled on two or three that looked promising. The whole time she'd been thinking it over she never once managed to get a straight answer from Bernadine.
