At this rate, becoming a full blown alcoholic is imminent.

Technology and myself do not agree. It was a huge step in using that fancy phone I have and configure the emails on there.

Maybe once every 6 months.

Haha... God, really? You need a lesson, bro.

How about you come and visit your brother and then you can give him a hand in working now how not to accidentally delete all of those files that the computer needs to run it?

We have to at least see each other once before someone dies. Reunion over a funeral, not as appealing.

Did you honestly do that? I'm a little worried now.

You still into those little trees? You don't... still talk to the bigger ones, do you?

Word processing, emails, web surfing. That is the extent I go.

The bonsais? It is not a phase you can just get over. All of the ones in my garden I have personally tended to and nurtured. I actually won some awards for my prized plants back a couple of months ago at the last competitions.

I did grow out of talking to them though...

At least you know that much. You're one step up from Grandmother.

There's competitions for them? I had no idea people did that. How intense is it?

That's a shame. I still talk to running water. Women tend to think it's kind of weird, the morning after, when you're showering alone but still talking.

It's just like any regular competition with the people you get through there. Even people bribing the judges off to make sure they win, getting professionals to tend to them instead of being their own work. It's not longer the older generations game, there are a lot of younger kids getting into it.

Can no longer pass it off as singing in the shower, huh. At least you aren't having a meaningful conversation with the drink fountains like you did back at school. But I still do talk to them really. Just not as much.

What do you get for prizes? Money?

There aren't many drinking fountains where I work, thanks. Or at all. I still feel bad for the water, having to come out of such a grubby looking tap. Remember I used to fill bottles after school from the fountain? And take them to the woods behind school to dump in the stream back there.

We were weird kids, you know.

Some are money. Some are gardening tools. You do get a fancy plaque to put on your wall.

You were seriously an adorable kid. At least you could be happy that the water was returned to where it belongs. I still shed a few tears when I see a program on about deforestation.

Weird adults too. And they said it was a phase. I could only imagine the taunts if someone were to find out from work that I sit outside and water the plants and have a long meaningful conversation with them.

That sounds like something to brag to the grandchildren about, surely.

It only went right back the next day. But I tried, and that's what counts right? At least you're not one of those people who chains themselves to a tree, demanding they not cut it. I wouldn't want to lose you that way.

Does your boyfriend know?

I don't understand those people. Those ones are more about creating chaos rather that understanding what it good for the trees. It's a balance of nature. Some sacrifices must be made which they understand so you don't have to worry about that any time soon.

Tobirama. He isn't my boyfriend. And no he doesn't.

He will be though, right? That's generally what happens after you man up and stop acting like a middle school girl. Or did you not think of that yet.

You know, I was wondering. That "Senju Curse," Grandpa talked about once, saying that all Senju men were doomed to have bad luck with women... I wonder if that's a sign we're all meant to be gay. No wonder the family is shrinking.

The thought has crossed my mind but then again, he might reject it as well so it's not good label is that yet.

I totally forgot about that. It looks like you might be the one to carry on the name, unless there is something you aren't telling me. Any problems with love life as well?

If he's as extraordinarily good looking as you say, then you don't really have time to sit around and think he'll say no. You already let one person get away from you. I don't think you get that many chances.

... I'm only saying this because I don't want you to be that crazy old man of the forest, living in a cottage and scaring school kids with your talk of how the trees are angry with them. I worry, you know.

I've got commitment problems. So I can assure you there's a curse.

I have been wondering about that. There would be plenty of people who would love to I'm not too sure if dating him would be correct but they would want to samples the goods so to speak so, that is... hmm. Maybe I have been completely missing signs.

Ah, so you aren't the one to break it. Guess we will be cursed forever. Definitely from father's side. Well, there are plenty of women here who would love to get their hands on someone rich and successful if you ever want a helping hand. No, just kidding. Stay away from them.

You think too much, you know. You ever just act on impulse? Women are supposed to like getting swept off their feet-- maybe gay guys like it too.

I might be too picky, too. I've never gotten close enough to get to the serious relationships you seem to have. It's like I know what to do, but I haven't met anybody worth it yet. I suppose it just takes time.

No. Never. That is, everything must be thought out before taking action or else, it could end up a bigger mess than before. No matter what the situation. Even when I proposed to her, I was planning for weeks for it. Maybe while drunk. That might have been the only time.

Not like I am the best for offering dating advice to you given my track history but it's bound to happen. Then again, some people aren't destined to be partnered up either. Whatever way happens, there is always room for you on my couch.

Are you unhappy about it? Being alone and content is one thing but being miserable about it, I wouldn't want to see you go through that.

Don't lose another one, Hashirama.

I'll come park my ass on it, don't worry. And I'm still young enough to not be tired of the bachelor life. It's you I'm worried about.

Are you trying to say that I am old? Thirty is still a good age. A good age to be settling down and having children and not thinking about supporting brothers on a couch. I should be crashing on your couch, eating leftovers and crying about a divorce at this age.

I am old.

I think it is time to change that.

It is the superior older sibling gene or some kind of genetic misfunction. A lot of women don't like men with facial hair so you have a better chance over someone like me.
