After hearing about the kidnapping of one of his cousins -- he wasn't sure which.  Obviously one of the older ones, either  Aslief or the twins who were less cousins by blood than by consensus -- the important thing to Douglas was to find Skari and Hjordis as soon as possible and tell them.

"Trouble," he said seriously when he finally got to them.

Douglas checked and loosened the belt on which he kept his mace -- he was a little better with it than with a blade -- and loosened the rest of his clothing so he could change again.

Skari had his sword and shield at the ready, and the ship was set to go.

Hjoris shook her head as she boarded the ship. This was a bad idea and they were going to get in A LOT of trouble for this.

Douglas would help sail, and kept checking the map.

The place wasn't really all that far. Certainly much closer than trying to make it to Midgard this way.
