Rescuing the bride to be
Svalin was always a bit disorientated after one of Asleif's teleportation spells. She shook off the nauseous feeling and looked around. This was the realm of the Celtic gods, but more importantly the lair of Manawydan. Somewhere inside one of the buildings up ahead, her sister was being held prisoner.

Svalin hoped they had arrived before the wedding.

She drew her sword and readied her shield.

"For Asgard!" she yelled and held her sword aloft. Talking was not an option at this point.

"She's... right?" Damn it this was confusing. Why did Marlow have to pull on the weird factor every now and then?

It really complicated things.

The two guards saw the dark haired woman and immediately drew their weapons. One took a step forward.

The spider weaves a little spell, turning himself and his companions invisible. Simultaneously, he creates an illusion of them all standing exactly where they were.

And the image of the group screams and run away.

One guard chased the fleeing figures and the other held his post.

Asleif frowned. This had not quite gone as well as they needed it to.

She cast a quick spell of her own, throwing a small spell ball that caused the sound of footsteps to come from further down the corridor.

The remaining guard turned at the sound of footsteps and went to investigate.

Marlow's illusion self followed the guard as a further decoy if necessary.

Ohu remains as a spider. With eight eyes, he's four times as likely to see things. That's just basic logic.

"Quickly," Branwen said. "We still have to free the others."

"Free the others?" He looks confused for a moment.

Then frowns and adjusts his glasses. "My lady. Did your brother prevent your other siblings from putting a stop to this?"

It seemed likely.

"And free them we shall," Asleif said. She gestured to the others. "Come, then."

"There are three other Asgardians kept elsewhere. They were captured not long before you arrived." Branwen opened the door to the room.

Aridis looks up from where she has been sitting. She is surprised to see the people gathered there to get her out. But she gets up right away to greet them.

She doesn't have any obvious marks of her time here but she will be glad to leave. "My sister! My friends!"

Then she glances at Barnwen. Aridis had not met anyone but her so called husband to be be and the servants who had tried to get her to change for the wedding. She had not of course.

"Others?" Asleif asked, though she kept any real curiosity from her voice. She disliked admitting ignorance, even when it was something she should have had no way of knowing.

"Yes. Three other Asgardians. Young ones. They're in a room down the hall."

"Young ones?" Aridis looks thoughtful.

"Couldst our younger siblings be here?" She turns and looks ready to hurry them along. "Hurry. I wouldst not see them caged for long."

"Three of them. Two boys and a girl," Branwen said. "Let's go," she said. Branwen would lead them down the hall and into another one. She stopped at a door and waved her hand across the lock, unlocking it.

She opened the door and the three young ones were inside. "Come," she said. "You are going home."
