Keeping a Promise
Anya had made a promise to Halbjorn and she was finally going to keep it. Keeping her word was very important to her and she wasn't going to start breaking it now. She left a message on Steve's phone telling him she'd be back late tomorrow night and was going to California to go sky diving with Halbjorn and checking on the Defenders' computer systems.

Commercial flights sucked, but she did at least go in first class on a direct flight to LA. From there she grabbed a cab to take her out to the compound.

Without her Avengers access, she had to do this the complicated way.

She rang the buzzer at the gate.

He happens to be milling about the kitchen, getting things together. Syd had been shopping - without Ohu! This heralded very good things. Plenty of fruit, meat and bread, a fair amount of which he's collected as a monster of a sandwich and trimmings. He hears the door though, and goes to investigate, entirely forgetting warnings about not terrifying the mailman.

"Ah! Anya! Welcome."

"A little more clothes would be advisable," she said. Though it was nice to see him with little clothes on. She had a boyfriend, but she could still admire a good view.

"While you're getting dressed, I can do a quick check on the computer systems." Technically she shouldn't be touching them, but she did do the last rounds of upgrades and programs. She'd know what kind of shape they were in.

	He nods and heads back to get dressed. He doesn't care one way or the other if she admires the view, and usually doesn't bother closing doors either. 	She grinned. "I figured you would. I had arrangements made and special equipment brought in." Asgardians were a wee bit heavier than normal humans and a special chute would be needed. When they reached the cab, Anya climbed in and gave the driver an address. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
