Jordan has been working feverishly at his hacking and making some arrangements. The team has had its hands full lately, and in the midst of it all, an idea struck him. After a bit of research, he got to work on a project. When almost done, he called into the coms.

"Hey Mel, Alex, could you come to my quarters please? I need some input on something."

Jordan's door is open anyway. He calls at the knock. "Come on in. So I did a little research into the laws and statutes and registry. This is mostly regarding your trip to ABBA world, and most of the arrangements are made, but I still have one box to fill out. Mel, you're officially registered with occasional bouts of social anxiety and resulting shyness, which your registered companion recognizes and helps you with. You're now totally legal to have your registered companion with you in restaurants, shops, sporting events and any venue that serves the public, including ABBA world. I just need to know - do you have a German Shepherd, a Golden Retreiver, an Australian Shepherd, a Terrier, a Beagle, a parrot or a capuchin monkey? They're all options and I can get the proper papers for any of them."

Jordan nods. "I'm really sorry Alex. Its not how I would have liked to go about it. I studied every way I could do try and get you into stuff. Its not fair that you can't go out and do some things with the team without hiding. Its the best I could come up with, but it means not just going with her to ABBA world, which I really wanted for you guys, but you can join us for anything the team does. Hockey games, baseball, restaurants, anything. As long as you're with Mel... which I didn't figure would be an issue." he apologizes sincerely. Not how he wanted to do it either.

	Jordan fills in the last blanks. "Capuchin monkey... ok, you're all set. Long as you're in that form, and with Mel, you can go pretty much anywhere in Canada." He prints out a form, tears a section off, and offers it to Mel. "Keep this with you. If anyone questions you, this should back them off, legally." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Alex adored Mel, it could be called a crush, but it would never go anywhere. At least not while Alex couldn't be a human. Mel deserved someone who didn't have such issues.
