The Best Laid Plans
The Empress was most pleased. Very pleased indeed. Things were going according to her plan. The recent fights had been entertaining and she had her champion. Now she could win the games here on her home world. Her champion would win no matter what and she now had more soldiers in her army. She was quite pleased indeed.

She was stretched out on her litter as four of her soldiers carried her to the area. It was the start of the games and by the end her champion would be victorious.

Everything was going according to plan.

	Zak tumbled back after being hit, but managed to recover in a timely manner. "What is this? You wanna play dollies next?!" Antagonizing was the best part of fighting. He smirked and rushed at her, wary of that claw. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"You gonna go She-Hulk on me, darlin'?"

He blocked with his forearms, and he winced when he actually felt her claws cut him. Despite his naturally enhanced durability and steel skin combo, he had taken a few shallow cuts. Her claws were not to be messed with (and he'd need to invest in a stronger metal to carry around with him).

Zak backed away to avoid further claw strikes, and came in closer with a typical boxer's crouch and a flurry of jabs.

	Skkkkkeeerrrr-ATCH! Rose managed a decent slash along his face, leaving a long cut across his left cheek and nose. She wasn't an ameteur fighter, and he was still getting a feel for how she moved around. Luckily, he ducked to evade more blows and threw an uppercut at her chin. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Gonna be feelin' than one in the morning, aren't'cha bub?" Rose taunted, right before she walked into another punch. She was dangerous, yes, but way off her game here. Why? All she wanted to do was fight? Wasn't it? She was teetering now, she'd taken quite a few blows to the head after all, but she tried for one more double stab. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
