Olympic Level Action
The Olympics, as everyone knew, were being held in Canada this year. Canada took this very seriously. Canada took everything that put it on the international stage seriously, which meant that they were taking security for the Olympics very seriously. Which meant using their very own super-hero team. Which meant, of course, Alpha Flight.

Fortunately, it had been quiet so far and with nothing that could not be handled by regular security had happened.

Marrina was just glad there was no Atlantean team. It left her free to root for Canada. They'd done well, but but nearly as well as she'd like.

She tapped her communicator. "This is Marrina, checking in at the hockey rink. No problems here."

Introductions done, Kara smiles warmly again. "Now, let's get over to those tables. Simon, what have you got for us." She smirks. "And it had better be good after all the skiing medals the Swiss have stolen from us."

Simon holds a basket.
"Meat pies, slies of cheese, apples, some very small cheese-and-vegetable quiches, and I baked some magenbrot. So you may not complain about the Swiss, Kara."

And off they go to sit.

"So how old are you, Alex?" Kara asks cheerfully.

	Mel smiles sheepishly. "I'm happy to," she mutters, although it's a lot less quiet than her usual muttering. And she'll help her parents take everything out. "I've missed your magenbrot, Dad.
