Daniel never asked for help when it came to his father. He had just disappeared into his lab one day after helping out with some other stuff. Then he left a few days latter smelling like he hadn't bathed in a few days without a word.

Like that he was gone. Not a word or hint. He should have said something. People can yell at him latter.

Right now though? It's been a week. No sign of the young wizard nor any word.

Just what was up with Daniel?

	That's what Akilah wanted to know. Not seeing him in a week concerned the Wakandan Princess more than anyone could possibly know. Although she had avoided it before, Akilah decided to go into his lab and go through it to find some clues to where he had gone. She appraoched and opened the door and walked boldly inside. The light above his work station flickers. He had forgotten to turn it off before he left.

There was a spoiled glass of milk on a shelf next to a books that had all kinds of book marks sticking out of it.

It was on faeries. Not unusual for Daniel to be reading.

What was unusual would be the ruined potion in a beaker. And several plants in various states of decay. Like the life had been pulled right out of them.

The stench of spoiled milk overruled everything else in the room. But Akilah didn't let that stop her from moving around the lab and examined his book. The last she thing she noticed were the plants and the potion- that wasn't Akilah's forte in magic. However, she didn't like the look of those plants. "What were you doing, Daniel?" she asked herself.

She returned to the book with the bookmarks in it to see if there was anything useful she could use to locate him. If it didn't she would use magic to locate him.

	It went against what Daniel normally did. He loved plants more than people at times. For him to go and actually hurt a plant was contrary to who he was. There was lots of general information noted. How to find very specific kinds of faeries had been circled a few times. He was trying to find someone. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That was something Akilah did pick up while she was reading. The more she read, the more she began to pick up notes about the faerie side of Daniel's family. But she noticed one major thing when she looked at the faeries Daniel had been looking at. She noticed how they were related to one faerie in particular. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	When she saw them, Akilah dog-eared the page and took the book with her out of the room. That was all the information she needed to go look for Daniel. But did she need help? (Reply to this)(Parent)

None of them noticed tha Daniel was missing? Seriously? "Daniel is missing," Akilah stated it like they should have already known. And they seriously should have. "His labratory is filled with dead plants, the stench of rotten milk, and..... this."

She showed them the book and opened it to the page with three locations scribbled down. They were the following locations: NOrth Cascades National Park, Shenandoah National Park, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

	Considering how unsuccessful he'd been in his attempts to pick Svalin up back when they'd first met, Steve was just a little weirded out to now have her as a teammate. 	Considering the fact that he didn’t live there it wasn’t surprising that Ryan didn’t notice that Daniel was missing. 	"Avengers?" A man with glasses and a ragged looking suit stumbles out from behind the trees. Akilah should recognize him as Daniel's father. He rubs his forehead. The man is very tired but he can do this.

"Daniel found out I was trying to.... Trying to negotiate for the aerie who helped him come into being back off. I ... I didn't want him to have this hanging over his head for the rest of his life." The man shakes his head.

"I made a mistake. I upset the Green Man. He was going to demand something from me when Daniel showed up to put a stop to it. They're further in the park. But you just can't walk in there. The Green Man did something. The trees won't let you pass. You'll need to find a wood spirit to grant you passage. And of course you'll need to make an offering. Milk will probably do. Or something sweet."
