Michael came to the Defenders' building to pick Sydney up to check out the Dickens exhibit. He was looking forward to seeing it with her.

Syd nodded. "Yes. I've been looking forward to this." She tilted her head. "Is everything okay at home?" She waited for him to start toward the car.

Sydney nodded. "It could have been a lot worse. I'm glad we were able to reach an agreement without any difficulties. How's the business going?" A change of topic was probably for the best. She didn't want to think of Avery and all the problems that could have been.
