Exhaustion (open)
Kalypso fell on her bed and had never been so happy to do so. The past weeks had been taxing even to an Eternal. She helped drive the deviants out of Olympia and then had stayed around for a bit to help start rebuilding the city. The effort had taken every bit of strength and energy she had and then some. There had been a few breaks to recharge, but even they were short and rebuilding had taken so much energy.

Now she was back in New York in her mother's place and she was planning on sleeping for a few days.

	Eli smiles in return and hands her the flowers he is holding. "These cannot possibly say thank-you enough for aiding our people in Polaria, but I still wanted to say it." he says as he walks in. 	"There is no need for thanks," Kal said as she took the flowers and smelled them. "We are family no matter how much some wish it were not the case. How are things in Polaria? I was in Olympia helping with the rebuilding and just recently got home." Despite how attached she was getting to Olympia, New York would always be her home. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Eli sighs, and looks down at the floor at Kalypso's question.

"The rebuilding goes well, but...there is no sign of my mother. She was to have been in Polaria around the time of the attack, but no one recalls her checking in, or leaving with us during the attack. I'm sure she's just running behind on whatever adventure she's gotten into" he smiles.

He doesn't say that she hasn't made contact to tell him so, though. She always lets him know if she'll be late. For once, he and his father agreed on something: their worry over Mother.

"Father's going back to business as usual regarding relations between our people, however, even after all we just went through. I decided to leave home again so that I wouldn't say something insolent."

Kal placed a hand on his shoulder. "I am sorry to hear about your mother. We will find her and she will be fine."

Kal frowned at the news of Druig. It did not surprise her that her cousin had gone back to his usual state of contempt for the Olympian Eternals and Ikaris. The fool did not see that the enemy was still out there and they had barely won this time.

"That was probably a very wise decision, cousin."

	Kal let the issue of Druig drop. She didn't want to think ill or say ill of him in front of Eli. Kal smiled. "She is good. She is still in Olympia with the others. Her transmutation abilities are very helpful in the rebuilding effort." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kal shook her head. "Not yet," she said. "We were too busy with the fight and then with the rebuilding. I hope to be able to speak to them before he returns to Titan. I'm hoping to spend some time with my father as well." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Good to know. The three of you should spend some time together. I think I will return to Titan myself, and study for a time. There were so many books, and the gardens were a good place to read them. A few decades of study would be good before I return to try to bridge the gap between Polaria and Olympia." he says.

"I don't suppose I could convince you to come and join me for a year or two? Think of all the debates we could have." he smiles.
