Eliza was making sure to not look nervous or stressed. She was worried about Iason and the Avengers who had gotten swept up in something she didn't have all the details on. She didn't look forward to the possibility of people trying to step in to fill the gap.
But she could do polite. She could smile and wave just at the right times. Still this wasn't a very fun Ball to be at. She should have asked one of the team to go with her so she wouldn't feel so out of place. Next time she'll do that because it's easy to do things as 'just friends'.
But she kept finding herself smiling despite herself. She was very happy for Mikhail. It was good to see someone so obviously happy and the good cheer everyone felt was spreading.
