Royal Wedding
The people of Russia were in a festive mood and they had reason to be. Their tsar, Tsar Mikhail Petrovich Romanov, was getting married to Duchess Tatyana Sergeyeva. The past few months had been spent planning and getting ready for this day. They were happy to see their tsar get married and would be even happier when the tsar and the tsarina had an heir. The newly restored Imperial family needed stability and the marriage today was the first step in providing that stability.

The wedding ceremony lasted over an hour in the Assumption Cathedral. Immediately after Mikhail and Tatyana were pronounced man and wife, Tatyana was crowned empress. The procession left the cathedral and the newly wed couple and newly crowned empress greeted the people from the Red Porch.

The royal family was given time to change and refresh themselves before heading to the Grand Kremlin Palace for the wedding banquet. Dinner was an elaborate affair and lasted for two hours.

After dinner the royal family and guests made their way to the grand ballroom for the ball. The royal family was introduced and then the tsar and tsarina entered. They danced the first dance together and then the royal family was invited to dance with their partners. The guests would be invited to dance in the next song.

He found a somewhat clear place and swung her around into position for a waltz. Years of dance lessons together payed off in unexpected ways since the Romanovs were put back on the throne. Up to then, it had just given his sparring a hint of grace.

With her in heels, he had to look up a bit to meet her eyes. His were full of suppressed humor. "Going to spring for the deluxe Elvis wedding service? Blue suede veil"

Marriage wasn't so horrible a thought to her anymore. While she wasn't going to rush out and get married anytime soon, but she could see herself getting married someday. She had a great guy right now and if he asked her to marry him at some point she would say yes.

Though she was fully aware that she was too young for marriage and kids for that matter. Thirty was a good age to pass before those two things happened. One had to be an adult first before marriage and before being responsible for another living person.

"We can hope. Though I may start telling them I'm already married just to shut them up or send them into conniptions."

"I could always have Dad negotiate for me," he said with a chuckle. "I doubt any royal house on the planet would want him involved." He deliberately didn't mention any off planet house. Logan had a reputation in places that didn't bear thinking about sometimes.

He turned them in another direction and smiled at a passing couple. "These events are getting easier, but if I ever start to look forward to them, fly me up about thirty feet and drop me on my head, okay?"

	Anya grinned. "With pleasure." Anya moved easily with him. She loved dancing to start, but Misha picked up moves very quickly and it made him a great dance partner. He twirled her around. 	Her giggling reminded of when she used to stand on his feet and he'd dance them around to make Mom laugh. Mom still had the pictures and probably the video.
