A phone call over the city.
Misha's goal was to get acquainted with the new stealth armor as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. Not that he lived in it, or slept in it (he wasn't four years old anymore with a brand new baseball mitt!), but he was racking up a good number of hours putting it through his workouts. He loved the better interface with his muscle memory; the more he used it, the more it seemed to anticipate rather than wait for him to lead. The seconds it shaved off his response time could bring a lot to a fight.

And sometimes, like today, he just wanted to get out and go flat out speed demon fast. He was making his third pass over the city, in a loop that included most of New England and a portion of Canada (oops, forgot the passport!) when his amazing new armor put through a phone call.

The display inside the face mask read Stark Inc, which told him it was coming from the same satellite Anya had sent his new phone on after the Red Room incident, and that opened up a few possibilities. Most likely Darlene or Anya, but it could be Mom. He was on extended Mom service until after she had the baby so he answered immediately. "Oil change, burgers, or going stir crazy?" he asked, slowing to a relative stealthy crawl near the Liberty statue.

Justin's eyebrows rose as he realized that Anya and Misha were both Russian royalty. He'd not put together that their mother was royalty, either, which suddenly put a lot of things Uncle Tony used to say about her into perspective.

"I'm surprised you don't want a bit more of that life. It would keep Mr. Stark out of your hair, if that's what you wanted. Being in Russia, I mean. But I understand that you've got business and family interests here that don't lend to being managed from afar." Justin says.

"But they've probably got an excellent health care plan, even if you've got a healing factor." Justin laughs.

"The people I grew up with, the X-Men, they're all here," Misha said simply. "We're a team and we have to stick together. My family is here, and it happens to include Tony Stark now. Besides, if I run he'll win." He grinned. "Can't have that, now can I?"

"No, can't let the old man think either of us are unable to hack it. I'm not one to let a challenge scare me, personally." Justin says.

"I've got family here myself, so I understand wanting to be around them. It's pretty nice, actually. I didn't know how much I wanted a kid sister until I got one.

And it figures that your kid sister and mine would be best friends." Justin jokes.

"They've been ganging up on me for years," he agreed. "But not too surprising. I think they genetically planned it that way. Anya was sure to be as impulsive as her father, so it was required that a Rhodes would need to ride herd on her."

"Then it looks like the odds are even now." Justin grins.

"And yeah, someone has to keep those crazy Starks in line, so it might as well be a Rhodes. I just hope I don't get volunteered full-time for the new baby." he jokes.

"I already volunteered Anya for the post. She needs to know what it's like to have a little sister from the cradle."

"Awesome." Justin says. "Anya could use another reason to step out of the lab sometimes."
