The Start of a War

Rose Red met with each group individually to tell them what she expected of them for their upcoming attack. The point of these attacks was not to win them and destroy everything though they could if they wanted she didn’t care as long as civilians were kept out of it. The point was too implicit the Kingpin in these attacks and that was all that they really needed to accomplish. The other thing she instructed them to do was if the fight got bad and it looked like they were to lose they were to make a retreat as fast as they could and if they got caught she would have them killed.

Leo made his way towards where he knew the main gathering would probably be and started looking for that was causing all of these explosions and where they were coming from.

Fred did not like being shot at. Not to mention he wasn't wearing any armor or anything to protect him from being shot at. Maybe it was time to get the hell out of there. He sent a few remote boomerangs out in different directions. Smoke started to pour from them.

Tagge threw another boomerang, this one an exploding one, and started to look for cover.

The smoke obscured Abigail's sight, and she went low to try and get away from some of it, but even then she couldn't see much. But she could practically shoot blindfolded, when she had to. She kept firing, though she knew she'd likely miss.

Leo saw the boomerangs being thrown down at where the gang members had been gathered and tracked it to where it was being thrown from. Leo put his gun away and started climbing the nearby containers to try to get to whoever was throwing the boomerangs.

Fred used the smoke as a cover and started running. Getting shot at and possibly killed was not worth all the money in the world. He wanted to live dammit!

Tagge searched for the people who had been the initial targets, but it was hard to see with all of the smoke. He'd have to yell at Fred for the smoke way too early.

She stopped firing once she saw it wasn't doing much good, and instead worked her way closer to the action.

Once Leo got on top of the crate he ran over towards Tagge drawing his gun when he got closer he stopped and had the gun pointed on him and said, “Don’t move.”

Tagge froze and put his hands up. "I was just trying to stop the Kingpin's men," he explained.

Abigail came up behind Leo. How the heck did she keep running into this guy?

"Ain't you the hero then?" she said, a mocking tone in her voice.

“Weird my sources told me that was triad stuff going on there,” Leo said gun still pointed at him.

This was weird running into Abigail again but he could find out more about that later.

"Think we oughta string this fellah up from the nearest high place 'till he talks?" Abigail suggested.

It worked in the Old West, after all.

While they were chasing thugs, Fred had doubled back and picked the handcuffs on his partner. The two of them disappeared into the night.
