Catching up
Set after Mother's Day and before X-Men in Spaaaaaaaace!

A busy life wasn't a good enough excuse to get out of regular visits with Mom. Missing the monthly family dinner would require a note from St. Peter, and even that was dicey. It was true that life was busy and most days he had to scramble to fit it all in. Sometimes he had to play hooky from it.

He appeared at the Stark condo mid-morning with a box of fresh pastries to see Mom and check her progress. If she looked like she was overdoing it, he would threaten to move in that night.

	Natasha smiled."Good. I'm glad. I wanted to be there, but up until this past week I've been so tired. Now that I'm in the second trimester, I'll have more energy to do things. 	He wasn't hiding the girlfriend, she just wasn't around much. A fact he wasn't crazy about and kept strictly to himself. "She's good. I hear there's still a lot to do settling in down in New Orleans and there have been some recent disruptions in the Force." Natasha nodded. "The Krylova girl gives me updates on Eliza, so I hear what's going on." Natasha said. Natasha made a mental note to go and visit her daughter soon.

"I'm thinking about going to Russia for a week or so. Want to come with me? You can bring Lyta and I can arrange some time with the Winter Guard if you want?."

Natasha spoke to Ivan on a daily basis and there was something in his voice that caused some concern. She knew Ivan would not come and visit if something was wrong and the only way to find out what was going on was to visit him.

	"Teleporters are creepy when they show up like that, but she's nice enough. I talked to her a bit the last time I was down there. She's Laynia's daughter.
