Marlow Gets a Makeover (open)
Downtime after the Defenders/Offenders war gave Marlow plenty of time to think about the spells she'd used and their effects. She'd knowingly overreached several times for magic she didn't think she should be able to wield and had done so easily. It was something she had to figure out before their next battle. She tried to contact Clea but those particular spells weren't working so well. Perhaps it was something she could talk to Matt about since he was the only other magic user she knew that might not get agitated when she said power surge.

Sure, there was Dawn...or was it Aslief? Who knew anymore. One was nice but untrained, the other expert and dismissive. While the others merely overlooked her, Aslief literally did not see her until there was a need for another sorceress.

Barefoot, wearing a boy's black tee shirt and faded to nearly white jeans, she made her way from the bungalow to the main house for a late breakfast. A ball of pulsing light hovered a few inches above her open palm.

	"Yeah, sure. Why not?" he says, waiting for Marlow to teleport. Marlow creeped him out a little bit, but she had some kind of effect on Titan. That could be a good or a bad thing depending on how one looked at it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Marlow moved for the door. "Sarah feeds Asgardians on a daily basis. There is always plenty. There will be several kinds of meat and pasta dishes, fresh bread, a salad and vegetables, and a couple of desserts. What doesn't get eaten at dinner usually gets eaten during the night. Sarah once said she planned meals for an entire football team when she makes out the menus and does the shopping."

"I'm liking Sarah's train of thought already. If she plans meals that well, trust me, Titan will definitely make up for my brother and your teammate that recently left. He eats a lot.

I can eat pretty well, too." he says a little bashfully. Mom used to call his stomach a "Fuel Tank For Mischief", when he was little.

She'd regret those words a few years later.

Andy moves to open the door for Marlow, smiling.

"Titan wouldn't be happy if I didn't show you the courtesy due a lady." Andy says, waiting for her to go inside.

"By the way, he liked that illusion trick. He wants you to do it for him the next time you see him..."

His kind words were unexpected after she'd made him uncomfortable with her questions about Titan. But Argo had been kind as well, so she thought his brother would not be so different.

"Sarah won't mind at all. If you have any favorite dish or food, she'll make it for you as often as you wish."

She gave him a smile and climbed the steps to precede him inside. "I can create up to three independent images of myself. They are a good distraction when the situation is uncertain. I'll be happy to show him."

	Why that would make anybody happy was beyond Marlow. She remembered Matt had thought it was a neat trick. She'd ask Titan the next time he appeared. "I've never tried one. I'll ask Sarah to make some tomorrow." (Reply to this)(Parent)
